What is mood moss?

Mood moss is a type of cushion moss known for its thick, velvety texture and vibrant green appearance, often used in terrariums and decorative moss installations. It thrives in shaded, humid environments, creating a lush, soft look.

These natural mosses are to the pillow moss and Dicranum families. They were identified for the first time by the scientific efforts of the Bestmoss team in 2017. Mood moss scientific name is Dicranum scoparium. This product, like our other stabilized products, is currently being developed and marketed only by the Best Moss team. These mosses are slightly ball-shaped and have a texture similar to the hair of animals such as rabbits.

All production processes of this product from moss harvesting to product quality control are done completely manually. Mood moss preserved have antistatic and anti-flam properties. The antistatic property increases the longevity of freshness and freshness in the color of moss. The anti-flam properties of mosses reduce the flame rate in them. These mosses provide an anti-allergic system for the environment by absorbing ambient moisture and dust.

This is the first time in Iran that has been implemented and tested on special materials such as moss by the BestMoss team.
